In The Beginning ...

New Birth COGIC had its beginning with a vision that the Lord gave to Elder W.O. Brooks, Jr. to establish a congregation. New Birth had its humble start in April, 1993 with 5 members (the pastor's family and sister-in-law). Through the leading of the Lord, New Birth has shown steady and remarkable progress.

The New Birth Congregation first worshipped in the sanctuary of Jefferson Mortuary, 7788 Church Street, Millington, TN. We remained there until October 1994, when Jefferson Mortuary was unable to seat the membership. When then moved to the Strand Theater and stayed there until December 1995. In January, 1996 the Lord blessed us to purchase our present location at 6424 Benjestown Road.

The journey has been difficult, but God has made a way for us. Each month the Lord has blessed us to increase our membership. We are a body of believers committed to doing the will of God. We are trying to make a difference.

In The Process Of Time ...

Sunday, June 20, 1999 we will open the New Birth Deliverance Center in Drummonds, TN. Please pray for us, that the Lord will bless our labor and bring is souls.
